¸ðµ¨ : KST94 / Contact vibration ÃøÁ¤ ¹× °Ë»ç

The piezoelectric probe-type Accelerometer model KST94 was developed for

Siemens AG as a manufacturer of contactors. During large-scale production

each contactor has to pass a vibration test. This test is necessary to sort out

devices generating unusual loud noise in their electromagnetic system.

The vibration test has to be accomplished within a production cycle which is only

a few hundred milliseconds long. The cylindrical case of the KST94 case has 25 mm

diameter and 60 mm length. For the measurement it is pressed against the body of

the specimen by pneumatic force. The sensor features a movable tip which can perform

up to 10 mm stroke. The sophisticated spring system is vibration insulated from its outer

shell to avoid avoid the influence of environmental vibration.

The KST94 can measure vibration between 45 Hz and 3 kHz. The ICP¢ç compatible output

is accessible via a UNF 10-32 socket. A signal conditioner of M68 series is used for further

processing.

The EM1000 is a reference shaker providing a sinusoidal vibration signal of 1000 Hz and 2 m/s©÷ (¡¾5 %). It belongs to the probe accelerometer KST94 described above. Therefore it has the shape of the contactors which are tested with the KST94. The EM1000 is regularly channeled into the production line to check the noise detection system. It can also be used to recalibrate the measuring chain since it provides a precise and load independent vibration signal. The vibration exciter used for the EM1000 is a piezoelectric actuator. A built-in accelerometer with reference loop keeps the vibration level constant. The small case (45 mm x 55 mm x 75 mm) includes the complete circuit with generator, reference loop and power regulation.
